Alumni Association

The college takes great pride in its robust Alumni Association, a testament to the institution's enduring commitment to academic excellence. This association plays a pivotal role in the overall development of the college, making diverse contributions to its growth and success.Notably, alumni from the institution have garnered global recognition, holding esteemed positions in renowned companies worldwide. This international success underscores the high academic standards and quality education imparted by the college. The active participation of alumni members extends beyond acknowledgment,as they engage in various college activities, actively contributing to the betterment of the college community.

The Alumni Association has been instrumental in driving facility enhancements within the institution. Alumni contributions have facilitated the establishment and improvement of key amenities such as auditoriums, Wi-Fi access points for laboratories, purified water systems, support for the development of canteen furniture and advancements in computing facilities.

Eminent alumni, distinguished in their respective fields, generously share their valuable experiences and insights with current students through organized interactive sessions. These sessions serve as platforms for guidance, mentorship, and knowledge exchange, enriching the academic experience. In a commitment to supporting academic excellence, alumni members actively provide scholarships for students, encouraging outstanding performance and fostering a sense of community and shared success.

Alumni offers Dr. P Mohammed Ali Scholarship. The scholarship winners are meritorious students who demonstrate exemplary levels of achievement in their overall performance during their course of study. The scholarship criteria take into account the overall merit and financial need of the students. An amount of Rs 20000/- is given to the students in two installments. A student is eligible for this scholarship, if he/she, Scores B- grade (70-79% marks) or above for all subjects, is financially challenged, is not enjoying any other scholarship(s). Additional prizes or appreciations are given to students with best academic performance during PTA general body conducted every year.

The Alumni Association of Sree Rama Government Polytechnic College stands as a vibrant and engaged community, actively contributing to the ongoing success and development of the institution. Their collective efforts not only shape the physical infrastructure but also nurture a supportive and flourishing academic environment. Currently a reprographic centre is functioning in the campus sponsored by the alumni.

The triennial alumni event, "Orma," initiated in 2005, serves as a familial reunion, fostering camaraderie and connections among alumni and faculty.
