Sreerama Government Polytechnic College, Thriprayar, fosters a vibrant sporting culture, recognizing the importance of physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship in the holistic development of its students. ANNUAL SPORTS REPORT-2023-2024

Students of Sri Rama Government Polytechnic Physical Education Department have performed well in the activities for the year 2023-24. 2nd year mechanical engineering student Abhijith PA was chosen as the general captain. Cricket, Football, Volleyball and Badminton (boys and girls) were included in the sports competitions held from January 29 to February 03.

Competitions were organized at departmental level. Mechanical engineering category won in cricket and volleyball competitions and computer engineering category in football. Along with the games, the kids were selected for the college team. All the competitions were well attended by the students. The annual athletic meet was organized on 01/02/2024 and 02/02/2024. It started with a grand march past and was inaugurated by Vice President College PTA. The Civil Department emerged as champions in the branch-wise competition.

Zonal competitions started in the month of February 2023. Sri Rama Government Polytechnic College participated in Cricket, Football and Volleyball Badminton (Boys and Girls) competitions. Got second place in cricket and badminton (girls) competitions and got selected for state competitions. 03/ 03/2024 both boys and girls teams participated in State Ball Badminton competition and girls bagged 2nd position. Congratulations to all the students who participated and performed well in the 2023-24 sports competitions.
