CARING FOR YOU-A guide to Menstural Health

RESOURCE PERSONS : Sri Swalih  and Smt Nima,Consultants,Center for Hygiene Research and Development,Koratty , Thrissur

                         SHE cell and Women development cell  of SRGPC jointly organised an awareness seminar on the topic menstrual health.Effective menstural hygiene management is essential for maintaining the health , diginity , and overall well being of women and girls.The seminar addresses myths and taboos associated with mensturation ,promote knowledge and ensure access to quality menstrual hygiene products.The classes were handled by Sri Swalih  and Smt Nima,Consultants,Center for Hygiene Research and Development,Koratty , Thrissur.Around 32 students participated in the programme.

AWARENESS SEMINAR ON WOMENS HEALTH AND HYGEINE

                                  A session on “AWARENESS SEMINAR ON WOMENS HEALTH AND HYGEINE” was presented by Dr. Gopika, Vaidyarathnam Ayurveda Hospital, Ollur, Thrissur is conducted for the all women students under Women’s empowerment cell on 20-09-2022 from 10.30am to 12pm.The programme was inaugurated by our Principal Sri.Abdul Nassar A A . Smt Indu V Kumar( women cell coordinator ),Sri Prasanth ES( NSS Programme Officer,SRGPTC) felicitate the moment.  .Around 100s of students participated in this class.

                                Women development cell conduct a seminar on 22/06/2022,10.00 am to 12.30pm in the college auditorium for law and new generation. This program was guided by Adv. K R Sumesh. This section was so interesting.Around 240 students participated in this program. In this generation the necessity of law is very important. Legal awareness helps to promote consciousness of legal culture, participation in the formation of laws and the rule of law.

GENDER SENSITIZATION

                                Women development cell conduct a campaign on 05/02/2022,10.30am to 1.30pm for 'gender sensitization'. The campaign was inaugurated by Sri. Abdul Nassar A.A (principal) and guided by Sri. Anagh (research scholar at M G university). Smt. Beena (Thrissur district coordinator, mahila shakthi kendra, women and child welfare Dept), Sri. Arun C.A (HOS, CT, SRGPTC), Sri. Prasanth (NSS coordinator), Sri Jineesh (NCC caretaker) felicitate the moment. Around 112 students participated in the campaign. The campaign, recognizes gender sensitivity and encourages behavior modification through raising awareness of gender equality concerns.
